Improv Everywhere: Say Something Nice

Improv Everywhere are a wonderful collaboration, but these kind of projects are my favourite, where they promote positive action from everyday people.

Joshua Foer: Study Yourself Failing

Joshua Foer: Step Outside Your Comfort Zone and Study Yourself Failing from 99% on Vimeo.

I could easily post everything 99% posts, because i'm addicted to that place.  Here Joshua Foer talks about the OK-Plateau and how people need to push past it to become better.

"It's very difficult to make good mistakes" - Trial, Error and the God Complex

Tim Harford talks about why trial and error is important and how the God Complex can stop people from making progress.

I'll probably post a lot of TED talks over time, as many of them are worth watching.

A fun talk by Jenny Lawson on being happy and remembering that being silly on occasion is actually good for you.

The internet is an amazing place.

I love the real world, it's full of oddly incredible, mysterious, hilarious and inspiring discoveries all the time.  The internet has become the best way to share those discoveries when your friends are stretched across the planet like colourful sprinkles on an extremely delicious earth-shaped donut.  Or a rum ball if you want to be fancy.

In that spirit, rather than intersperse my normal blog with such wondrous findings, i'm going to collate them here in a scrapbook blog.

In short, it will essentially be "Stuff I Find on the Internet" along with my own real world discoveries, but i'll try to keep it to things that are inspiring, well designed, awesome or very interesting.

If you're into that kind of thing, enjoy.   If you're not, well... here's google: https://www.google.com/
